Rakhyun Kim is a PhD scholar in the Fenner School of Environment and Society at the Australian National University. He holds a Master of Environmental Law (First Class Honours) (in addition to his Master of Science) from the University of Auckland Faculty of Law. He has been a junior member of CEL since 2007, and joined the CEL YP Group in 2009. He is also an Earth system governance project research fellow.
His research interests lie in the issue of the fragmentation of international environmental law and governance, and adopts systems and resilience thinking as a theoretical framework. Empirically, he focuses on the interlinkages and interactions between the climate change and biodiversity treaty regimes.
